Research badge budget

Stock up before Wednesday (heavy badge consumption day). ■ Why budget badges Badges are the main cost of the strongest research. With one branch needing almost 1.5 million badges, knowing how many you earn per week and how many you still need helps you set realistic goals. ■ How to build a budget 1. Note how many badges you earn in a normal week. 2. On the tech tree board, add up the badges for the nodes you want next. 3. Divide the total needed by your weekly income to see how many weeks it takes. 4. If the number is too big, split it into milestones, for example reaching 50% of the branch first. ■ Example For Unit Training, reaching 50% (Breakthrough) needs about 515,200 badges (see "Unit Training — badge costs"). That is a sensible first intermediate goal. ■ Make the most of Wednesday Wednesday is the heavy badge consumption day. So: • Save badges during the week instead of spending them piecemeal. • On Tuesday, adjust speed-ups so your current research finishes Wednesday morning. • On Wednesday morning, start the most badge-hungry steps. ■ Note Your budget should include other branches too, such as Alliance Commendation and Hero Training (see "Tech priority order"). Do not pour every badge into Unit Training while higher-priority branches are unfinished.
