Summary
Training speed-ups. Canteen + refugees reduce base training time — every minute saved adds up over a week.
Canteen + refugees reduce base training time — every minute saved adds up over a week.
Training speed-ups are limited. Cutting base training time means you need fewer speed-ups for the same troops, and you can save speed-ups for event days.
■ Estimate your savings
Take the example from "Canteen": a batch of 174 Shooters drops from 9h 31m to 9h 29m after raising refugee stars, saving 2 minutes per batch.
How to calculate for your account:
1. Count the training batches you run each day across all three barracks.
2. Multiply by the minutes saved per batch.
3. Multiply by 7 to get the minutes saved per week.
Example: 6 batches a day × 2 minutes × 7 days = 84 minutes a week. That is almost an hour and a half of training speed-ups you do not need, from a single refugee star upgrade.
■ Ways to cut training time
• Raise the Canteen to LV.20 (see "Builders and building order").
• Assign refugees that reduce training time to the Canteen and raise their stars when you have shards.
• Raise the three barracks along the HQ chain (see "City walls / 3 barracks types").
■ Use speed-ups wisely
• Save training speed-ups for event days that score training.
• On normal days, start long batches before sleep or work instead of using speed-ups.
• Note your speed-up count each week to see whether you are saving or draining them.
After each game patch, verify numbers in-game (warehouse, lab, hero screens). If something differs, report via Feedback or article comments.
Quick checklist
- Write this week's HQ / tech target
- Use HQ table and research tree on site
- Don't burn speedups while short on resources
- Prioritize canteen + refugees for training
