Who this is for
All members leveling HQ, especially levels 25–30.
Summary
HQ unlocks buildings, hero caps, and resource value. This article explains why HQ is priority #1 and the LV.27 milestone for T9 troops.
The most important thing in this game is your Headquarters (HQ) level.
HQ is more than a building. Your HQ level decides which buildings unlock, how high other buildings can go, and even how much your stored resource boxes are worth. So every development plan should start with one question: "Does this help me reach the next HQ level faster?"
■ Three core points
• Completing Barracks LV.27 for T9 troops is the top priority.
• Levels 27~30 are when power spikes hardest thanks to hero experience.
• Compared to raising a hero from level 1~100, levels 125~150 give a much larger combat power boost.
■ Why Barracks LV.27 matters
T9 troops are a big jump in troop quality. Higher-tier troops hit harder and take more punishment, so you lose fewer troops in every fight. If you keep training large numbers of low-tier troops, much of those resources and training speed-ups lose value the moment T9 unlocks. Put your builders on the chain of buildings needed for Barracks LV.27 first, then return to side buildings.
■ Why HQ 27~30 is a power spike
By this stage your main heroes are usually high level, and hero experience becomes your biggest source of combat power. Each level between 125 and 150 gives far more stats than early levels. The same amount of experience is worth more on a high-level Squad 1 hero than spread across many low-level heroes.
■ How to apply it
1. Write down your current HQ level and the requirements for the next one: which buildings are still too low.
2. Keep 2~3 builders running nonstop on the HQ chain: HQ, Research Institute, Alliance Center, the three barracks types and City Walls.
3. Once you reach HQ 27~30, give hero experience to Squad 1 instead of side heroes.
4. Do not upgrade buildings just to "complete the set" when they are not HQ requirements.
■ Common mistakes
• Raising every building to the same level, wasting builders and resources on low-value upgrades.
• Spending all hero experience on many low-level heroes, then running short for main heroes at high HQ.
• Opening piles of resource boxes right before an HQ upgrade, even though box value rises after the upgrade.
After each game patch, verify numbers in-game (warehouse, lab, hero screens). If something differs, report via Feedback or article comments.
Quick checklist
- Note your current HQ and weekly target
- Prioritize barracks LV.27 before side buildings
- Plan hero XP 125→150 after HQ 27–30
- Avoid side upgrades that block main HQ progress
