Who this is for
Members investing in research, badges, and alliance tech.
Summary
Tech priority order. Tech must be prioritized in order. Your path depends on playstyle, alliance role, and spending level.
Tech must be prioritized in order. Your path depends on playstyle, alliance role, and spending level.
The tech tree is wide, and nobody has enough badges to research everything at once. The wrong order means paying the same cost while growing slower than everyone else.
■ Recommended order
1. Alliance Commendation — finish first. Doubles development speed; benefits the whole team.
2. Hero Training — best combat power per investment. Parallel or right after Commendation.
3. Unit Training — biggest power gain but heavy on badges.
■ Why Alliance Commendation comes first
This is a "multiplier" tech: it makes everything after it faster. Finish it early and every later research and build benefits. Finish it late and you lose the benefit for all the days before.
■ Why Hero Training is second
Heroes are your main source of combat power, and this branch gives a clear gain for the badges spent. With two research institutes, you can run Hero Training alongside Alliance Commendation.
■ Unit Training: strong but expensive
Unit Training gives the largest combat power gain but needs a huge number of badges (see "Unit Training — badge costs"). Work out the total badges needed and your weekly badge income before you start.
■ Adjust to your role
• Rally leaders (usually R4): consider Siege earlier.
• Development and defense-focused players: War Defense is usually worth more.
• Heavy spenders: can push Unit Training earlier thanks to more badges.
After each game patch, verify numbers in-game (warehouse, lab, hero screens). If something differs, report via Feedback or article comments.
Quick checklist
- Finish Alliance Medal tech first
- Plan heavy badge spend on Wednesdays
- Pick Siege vs War Defense by VS role
- Track total badges on the site research tree
