Summary
Siege / Defense point comparison. Siege: even with 3~4 attack squads, only ~40% of one main squad's power counts.
Siege: even with 3~4 attack squads, only ~40% of one main squad's power counts.
War Defense: ~40% of your total troop power counts.
The difference is scope. Siege is based on one main squad, while War Defense is based on your entire army. The bigger your army, the more War Defense pays off.
■ Worked example
Siege example: 1 squad of 3,000 troops = 1 point → attack with ~4,200 combat power.
Defense example: 15,000 total troops → defend with ~21,000 combat power.
In this example the total army is 5 times one squad, so the benefit from War Defense is also about 5 times larger.
■ Conclusion
• Completing Siege ≈ 1,200 points
• Completing War Defense ≈ 6,000 points
■ Reading the numbers for your account
1. Note the troops in your main squad and your total troop count.
2. Divide total troops by one squad's troops. The result tells you how many times more points War Defense gives compared to Siege.
3. If you lead attacks, you may still choose Siege first despite fewer points, because your role matters to the whole alliance.
■ Note
This is a point-based comparison to make the idea easy to see. Real battles also involve heroes, gear, troop types and alliance buffs. Use this result to decide research order, not as an absolute figure.
After each game patch, verify numbers in-game (warehouse, lab, hero screens). If something differs, report via Feedback or article comments.
