Most players have some Military Theory done. Siege and War Defense unlock as you progress. Military Theory is the foundation branch for combat. Besides direct stats, it unlocks two important later branches: Siege and War Defense (see "Siege vs War Defense"). ■ When to research it Late stages take a long time — avoid researching on Wednesdays (fewer badges but more speed-ups needed). Wednesday should go to badge-heavy research such as Unit Training. The final Military Theory steps cost few badges but a lot of time, so run them on other days of the week. ■ Pick the line for your lineup Match research to your main lineup: • Blue team (Laura) → Shooter line first • Red team (Sophia) → Assaulter line first • Riders are rarely used in combat → research last Why: research stats only apply to their troop type. Researching a troop type you rarely use means spending badges that never turn into real power. ■ How to apply it 1. Identify which faction your Squad 1 belongs to (see "Three hero factions (by color)"). 2. Prioritize the line for the matching main troop type. 3. Leave the Rider line for last. 4. For the final steps, run them on a day other than Wednesday and start when many teammates are online so you get help.

After each game patch, verify numbers in-game (warehouse, lab, hero screens). If something differs, report via Feedback or article comments.
