Players building hero teams and gear.
Summary
Spending / top-ups. If you plan to spend but don't know what to buy → invest in hero-exclusive gear.
If you plan to spend but don't know what to buy → invest in hero-exclusive gear.
This article is for players who want to spend with a plan, so every purchase delivers the most value. Spending is a personal choice and is not required to enjoy the game or contribute to your alliance.
■ If you spend regularly
Hero-exclusive gear is a long-lasting investment. It belongs to your main hero and keeps paying off as you grow. Prioritize exclusive gear for Squad 1 heroes (blue-faction heroes after the 50M mark).
■ If you have never spent
Never spent before → try the lucky wheel (first-time accounts often have better odds).
This is community experience, not official information from the publisher. Treat it as something to try, not a guarantee.
■ General spending rules
• Set a monthly budget and stick to it.
• Buy toward a specific goal (for example, exclusive gear for one main hero) instead of on impulse.
• Compare with the development path in the HQ and Tech articles: does the purchase help you reach an important milestone sooner?
• Never buy accounts, resources or items through unofficial channels. This breaks the game's terms and can get your account banned.
■ Free-to-play players
You can still grow well by using alliance help, following the right research order and not wasting resources. Most of the advice on this site applies to free-to-play players.
After each game patch, verify numbers in-game (warehouse, lab, hero screens). If something differs, report via Feedback or article comments.
