Squads 1, 2, and 3

If Squad 1 is under 50M power → ignore faction synergy. Use your strongest orange heroes in Squad 1. Early on, the power gap between individual heroes is much bigger than the faction buff. So pick the strongest heroes you have, regardless of faction. ■ Faction buff and the 50M mark Same-faction lineup gives ~10% buff, but below 50M on Squad 1 → skip the buff and stack raw power. Once Squad 1 is strong, a 10% faction buff becomes significant. That is the time to switch to a same-faction lineup (see "50M milestone — blue only"). ■ A sensible squad split Best approach: 5 orange blue-faction heroes in Squad 1. Blue beats red. Put yellow in Squad 3. Do not spend orange shards on yellow heroes. Develop blue first. Suggested roles: • Squad 1: your strongest squad, receiving most experience, hero shards and good gear. • Squad 2: the support squad, using whichever other faction has the most orange heroes (usually red). • Squad 3: yellow or leftover heroes, used for gathering and side tasks. ■ Why not spend shards on yellow Hero resources are always limited. Putting orange shards into blue heroes gets Squad 1 to higher stars faster. Yellow sits in Squad 3, so its power gains barely affect fight results. ■ Common mistakes • Forcing Squad 1 into one faction too early, using weak heroes just for the buff and making the squad weaker. • Splitting shards and experience evenly across all three squads, so no squad is truly strong. • Spending orange shards on yellow heroes, then running short for blue heroes.
